Project Coordinator
Job Description
  • To provide comprehensive assistance in project initiation, planning, execution, control and closure to facilitate IS project related activities
  • Assist in compiling project charter including projecting project scope, problem statement and goal statement.
  • Assist with project-planning in line with recommended tool sets.
  • Track project activities and compliance with planning guidelines and project plans.
  • Co-ordinate input and maintains plans throughout project life cycle.
  • Gather project status and assist in providing with up to date information on all projects (where applicable) to Project Manager.

Credit Assessment Analyst
Job Description     
  • Process credit applications and analyse credit requests and recommend limits based on assessment score card/templates
  • Maintain Individual Credit Accounts, Trade Partners and Corporate Credit Accounts by ensuring completeness, accuracy and correctness.
  • Receive and sort credit applications from Account Managers across MTNN
  • Maintain a proper log of all such applications and ensure completeness and accuracy of information provided
  • Analyze credit applications using applicable templates
  • Ensure value creation when engaging with Customer
  • Ensure value is created through effective stakeholder management
  • Maintenance of Bank Guarantee (BG) from Corporate credit customers:
    • Obtain BGs from Account Managers
    • Review BGs of potential and existing corporate credit customers for adequacy, accuracy and compliance with MTN’s policy
    • Prepare and send BGs confirmation letter to MTNN partner banks to verify genuineness
    • Ensure BG expiry status alerts are received and reviewed regularly
    • Maintain schedule of bank guarantees for corporate credit customers and connect stores

Analyst, Sponsorship & Promotions (Mass Market)
Job Description    
  • Assist in the execution and management of Mass market sponsorships & promotions in the Brand & Communication department in line with the overall marketing strategy in conjunction with the Sponsorship and Promotions Manager.
  • Articulate knowledge of industry best practices with regard to sponsorship, promotions, and events
  • Liaise with cross functional units to ensure smooth implementation of all high value sponsorship, promotions, and events
  • Assist in the implementation of the various functions in MTNN on all mass market (women, youth & teens) Sponsorship & promotions
  • Implement short and long term strategy for the sponsorship, promotions and events teams for penetration into the mass market segment of the Nigerian telecom market
  • Execute the activities stipulated in the brand & communication Management plan to ensure that brand and communication objectives are achieved.

Analyst, Campaign Management

Job Description
  • Assist in the development, implementation and measurement of various “Below The Line” campaign programmes that focus on customer retention and customer life-cycle management.
  • Leverage the outbound and inbound channels for campaign execution aimed at reducing churn and increasing customers’ spend.
  • Identify opportunities within the base for revenue optimization and campaign management with the aim of developing relevant programmes to address these opportunities
  • Monitor and track campaign performance over campaign lifecycle and ensure right decisions are taken regarding continuing or discontinuing campaigns
  • Design and execute pilot campaigns to determine best approach to campaign deployment, offer development and campaign scripting before scale-up
  • Utilize both inbound and outbound campaign management platforms for the purpose of campaign execution, deployment and evaluation
  • Ensure no revenue dilution as a result of campaign activities
  • Provide support to campaign segmentation analyst as required.
  • Responsible for developing and executing Below The Line campaigns with the aim of generating incremental revenue and reducing churn on the network
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • Write, edit and proofread campaign scripts to ensure the best and effective marketing communication is achieved to drive campaign uptake and improved campaign success rate
  • Regularly monitor and measure ROI of campaigns and take key decisions regarding continuity or modification of campaigns.
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
  • Analyse outbound and inbound campaign results and propose recommendations to the business based on campaign performance and evaluation
  • Execution of overall customer base strategy to include but not limited to acquisition quality, welcome engagement campaign, upgrade and cross sell strategy, base migrations and retention strategy

  • Experience in developing test design, significance testing, establishing error ranges, and key success metrics.
  • Expertise in experimental test design
  • Experience with major campaign management platform(s) within telecoms industry
  • Demonstrable data-mining, analytical skills and segmentation techniques
  • Good understanding of customer data analysis, propensity modelling and segmentation techniques; excellent understanding of data manipulation and interrogation techniques.
